"Old Knives"

Oh man.
Augie - stunning knives - the both of them my friend.
Like Paul and Charlie said the Farmers Jack is just an amazingly conditioned knife - what a find!

Lyle will be tripping over himsel trying to get to that knife I'm sure!

Here's a 3 3/8 ULSTER that arrived about an hour ago. Just wonderful jigged bone covers...I love the color:thumbup:

Blades had pitting and was cleaned when I bought it but I thought she was still a beauty even though highly polished. I'll use her and let the patina regain her glory. Snappy and solid blades:thumbup:

Wonderful Jack Paul! Love the color too and the nicely jigged handles. Yes, that will be an easy knife to like and carry  Lloyd

Waynorth - Great Henckels miniature models. Henckels did offer a wide range of minis prior to WWII, but you rarely see them.

Luger - very elegant little HSB lobster and in such great condition.

Augie - I love that Camillus timber scribe, and what a serious large cutting blade on that one.

scrteened porch - despite a little blade problem, that's a neat all metal Swedish lobster.

Paul - Great old Ulster, full blades, beautiful bone, and a classic pattern.

Stunner there Paul my friend - Oh man just the Bone alone- and a bonus as the guys have already stated- its a great knife all round!!
Well done matey.

Lloyd, John, Charlie, Mike - I can't keep up with this thread! ;) You are all posting some outstanding knives!

Paul, to quote our Kiwi friend, Stunner! Just a beautiful ole Ulster Jack.:D

That timber scribe! I like the way the pins are patina'd against the bone, just looks awesome!

Stunning knives everyone, I've just finished catching up an the first thought that came is anyone open the time machine to the crowd? where is the line?
WOW

Mike

Thank you everyone for the comments on the Camillus and Schrade, was very happy to acquire both.

Paul, that Ulster is very nice, beautiful bone and I love spears with a swedge.

Gev, great vintage look to that Remington, that Barlow was well loved by someone.

here are a couple more have picked up in the last month, a HSB large coke bottle hunter, these are some big knives, not sure who made this one, maybe NYK Co. This pattern seemed to be popular before WW2.

The other is a nice Valley Forge, nice tight knife with great snap and a lot of life left in the blades, about the size of a GEC 15.

Oh, that Valley Forge is a winner! They both are beautiful, but I always favor the bareheaded ebony. ;)
