"Old Knives"

Duncan
The Maher & Grosh is simply divine...wow! The line up is just a tray of hors d'oeuvres...my eyes are growling waiting on the feast ;):D

Wow Duncan what a shot of absolutely gorgeous folders aplenty!! I love photos showing a bunch of vintage folders all lined up in formation. This is sensory overload at its best:D. Like Mike said we need to see more and with blades deployed. With a teaser photo like this I am still breathless or more exactly hungry for more! Very, Very nice my friend, Lloyd

Duncan, I'm glad Charlie recruited you into Traditionals when he did because of what you've done with and for this obsession of ours since. That is an impressive line up Sir!!!

Well said :)

Some great-looking knives there Duncan

The knife that started off one of the most amazing journeys of my lifetime- Traditional knives - I bought this not knowing what this knife really was- Charlie invited me in to Traditionals when I showed this in Bernard Levines Thread.... I have not looked back - neither has my Bank Account lol....

Remember this knife Charlie? - Thank you for that day and countless more since then......

I remember it well, Duncan! And I have never forgotten your generosity in letting it go to me, with my shameless grovelling!!

That knife inspired me to seek out that pattern. Here is a fresh scan of the M&G, with others purchased, and - -ummm - - made!!

There are actually two more in the mail to me as we speak!!

Duncan , really wonderful knives buddy, thanks for posting.

Jeez, thanks a lot Charlie, now I got another pattern to drain the checking account with. Seriously, very nice collection of vintage knives.

WOW Charlie what a line up! What is the one in the left column with the chess piece looking shield? Those are a text book study in peachseed and pick bone jigging styles::thumbup: I am going to save a copy of that to my intelligence file:D Thanks for posting this scan, Lloyd

Lol Oh Wow!!!!
Now they are coming out of the closet Charlie!
Just utterly amazing line ups of first rate knives there my friend.
Peachseed Heaven I would call that- in saying this that Ebony Handled Jack has the meanest Swedge!!

Thank you for the kind comments guys. Other photos coming up - weekend at desk with Beer job 🍺

Unbelievable or is that ...as I break out in tune....Unforgettable ...that''s what these are

The ebony Empire is...oh so remarkable !

Thanks Lloyd.
This needs an update as I have a good handful of knives at Mr Hilborn's place as well!

Took me a while to get back to these; the rest of the drawer-full. These are different than the first 2 pictures, except for the two open knives on top; The Empire, and an older Schrade Cut Co. that Lloyd asked about.

The only one not made in the USA is the T.ELLIN&CO SHEFFIELD, which was the inspiration for the third-cut Stag on some TC Barlows.
It is barely serpentine, but it is close enough to fit the category IMO.

Goodnight all!
