So I'm sure many people remember that last year there were several online auctions that were headlined as "Rhett Stidham Estate"... obviously being new to collecting I did not know a whole lot about Rhett or the person selling them. So I did some research at the time about both people, especially reading up on the knife forums about what the knife enthusiasts thought and realized quickly that although the knives were historically important, the auction itself was "frowned upon" for lack of better words, so I stopped bidding on them. Prior to that, I did end up buying about 6 knives and I only bought ones that were reasonably priced (which was rare in those auctions). I'm happy I bought them, especially if they did in fact belong to Rhett because they ended up in a good place. Below is one of those knives, an Ulster Knife Co pearl handled congress knife that is simply old & awesome  In my continued pursuit of knowledge and history, I'd appreciate any feedback on these particular knives or background you fine people may have on Rhett Stidham and these knives.

I found myself in the same curious boat V_P, I was kicking around buying one knife but I haven't brought myself to it. Nice knife there, regardless of prior ownership.
