Here is an old pearl handled Ulster Physician's knife with a secondary spatula blade.

Here is an early Schrade Cut with arched tang stamp. English Jack 4.5 inches closed. I got this example at the OKCA show a couple years back.

It is in very high grade condition with very little evidence of use. Pick bone is in great shape with no cracks or splits as is common with this type of bone handle jigging. I believe I posted a photo of this folder on the Elusive Schrades thread but thought a photo belonged on this Old Knives thread also. Charlie and Knowtracks (Dave) have seen and handled it if I am not mistaken.

Some great knives posted here the past couple of days and you guys know who you are.

Lloyd, that English jack is almost unbelievable. That bone is to die for.

LegHog, your KaBar scout/utility was made by Robeson Cutlery in the early 1950's. I have one like it.

Would like to thank all my friends on BF for your kind remarks on the arch stamped Schrade Cut English Jack I recently posted photos of! Also those that liked it!!

It has been a wonderful vintage knife collecting year in no small part to each member who has posted their prize finds right here on the "Old Knives" thread. It has inspired me and I am sure each of you with the beautiful photos of vintage knives and successful hunts:thumbsup::):thumbsup:
