Very nice, Herder!! Serpentine Docs are cool!!

Here is an early Schrade Cut with arched tang stamp. English Jack 4.5 inches closed. I got this example at the OKCA show a couple years back.

Super Knife, Luger!! A Schradista's dream!!

Great showing of knives all!!!

Here is a 100 year old knife that hits all the right notes for me.
The melody would include...

A beefy spear blade with a heavy swedge and long pull.
Rich caramel colored bone handles with old school jigging.
Rounded off with a graceful tear drop handle featuring a classic Federal shield.
Refrain... :)

Simply HAD to bring this one forward as well - wow!!!!

Here is an early Schrade Cut with arched tang stamp. English Jack 4.5 inches closed. I got this example at the OKCA show a couple years back. It is in very high grade condition with very little evidence of use. Pick bone is in great shape with no cracks or splits as is common with this type of bone handle jigging. I believe I posted a photo of this folder on the Elusive Schrades thread but thought a photo belonged on this Old Knives thread also. Charlie and Knowtracks (Dave) have seen and handled it if I am not mistaken.

How one could walk out the house knowing that such a treasure was left behind just waiting to be admired!

Did someone say Refrain ;):):D

Gev my friend - what a Beautiful Knife!!!
Let’s see more of that beauty please sometime!

Just picked up these two today. Both should make great users. The IXL especially has great snap while easy to open. I love the deep blade etch

The bottom one sports a tang stamp "CrownCutCo" in an arc with "New York" stamped underneath. Any info would be appreciated.

Lloyd, that English jack is almost unbelievable. That bone is to die for.

LegHog, your KaBar scout/utility was made by Robeson Cutlery in the early 1950's. I have one like it.
