America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.
Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!
Nice little folder, the 511 and it's bigger brother the 510 were actually made in Howard City mi. By Olsen. They were not made for themI was recently gifted this unused Olsen folding knife by Scott (@Duckdog). It came in its original box, with belt sheath and an Olsen catalog insert. Though fairly recent (1970's) by some knives here it's always fun to step back in time a ways.

Correct. The 510 is a little awkward in my opinion.Nice little folder, the 511 and it's bigger brother the 510 were actually made in Howard City mi. By Olsen. They were not made for them
I agree, I have the 511 made with 5 different handle materials . And several 510's too. I also have a 511 accidentally stamped 510Correct. The 510 is a little awkward in my opinion.
Wow! Do you know the production totals for the 511?I agree, I have the 511 made with 5 different handle materials . And several 510's too. I also have a 511 accidentally stamped 510
Olsen didn't keep real good production records , but the 510, 511 folders were only made from 1977 to 1982. They weren't offered for sale until 1978. Most of there concentration was on fixed blade knives. So unfortunately no exact numbers are available.Wow! Do you know the production totals for the 511?
Thanks. If you can I'd love to see photos of the 511's you have.Olsen didn't keep real good production records , but the 510, 511 folders were only made from 1977 to 1982.
