"Old Knives"

Here's a couple of "new old ones" I picked up recently. Something I noticed just recently is that on these small pen knives, the master blade usually has a cam end tang and the secondary blade usually has half stops.

I agree with D.P. The simple bar shield enhances the bone on that pattern. There is a nice symphony going on there!!

Great looking knives and excellent photos to match Kerry. I have the mop Keen Kutter's Sheffield Twin.... ok fraternal not identical twin. Mine is not a sleeveboard.

Maybe not as old as some others posted ;) but there is a couple of pre-war ebony handled Schatts. The 2 bladed Jack is large at 4" And the Electricians knife might have seen some action, it's eletro-engraved down the backspring;

Beautiful Ebonies!! Real nice examples my friends!!
Under appreciated, ebony was probably the most common handle material. I love it!!

very nice pics of some great looking knives! I have a few 1940's pocketknives, they are a treasure. paul

This one might be from after WWII, but maybe someone who knows for sure could comment. A Sta-Sharp Four Blade Cattle knife, with that Bone that looks like Rogers' bone.
