"Old Knives"

Wow nice Catt Cal as Charlie said!! Isn’t it amazing just how an older knife can still exist that looks so so good!

That smaller wee knife is such a great looking knife!

Getting back to some pick bone. Came to me half sanded and half rust, hate to clean one but I felt like I had to finish what they started. I am impressed with the quality of Valley Forge :thumbsup:

As it came to me.

Nice Valley Forge. Congrats on the find!

Wonderful Valley Forge rockmanO:thumbsup: No VF in circle on back of primary tang then made before 1916.

Here is an Electric Cut Co. Jack. Please notice that this one is Newark NJ marked. So it was made prior to 1910 probably around 1903 or so. While you will see more Electric CC marked Walden NY made ones than Newark NJ ones they are all fairly scarce. It is a Jumbo Jack at 3 & 3/4 inches and has those highly desirable deep dark black Ebony handles found on early made antique folders. The blades are full with a lot of the original finish present. Snappy W & T and not a hint of wobble when blades fully deployed. Looks like much of the original factory cutting edge bevel still intact. Just a solid well preserved old Jack! Thanks for looking
