Lol. Sounds like it was a good time. Wish we had some real beaches by us. It's tough to lay towels down on rocks and pebbles.

Poor ol' Foo is a latch-key kid. 
Sort of reminds me of when I was a 12 yr old kid and riding my bike home from school to the empty house...
Of course, I had already hit 6'3" when I was twelve and I grew up in Daytona Beach. That ride home usually meant a beach visit on the way. Can I tell you that a kid gets a lot of anatomical knowledge fast, growing up in Daytona with Bike Weeks and Spring Break??

We took one of those snorkeling/shopping cruises over to Isla Mujeres once. I remember tequila shots and a rather large Mexican mooning everyone on the boat. After that, the tequila took over and your guess is as good as mine...
Seriously, the snorkeling was fun, and we bought a lot of silver if I remember correctly.

If you bought lots of silver... you were probably in Playa del Carmen... a great little town (well, used to ba anyway) about 30 minutes south(?) of Cancun. IIRC, that's were most of the ferries are to get to Isla de Mujeres.

Here's me and my wife Tanya. Yes I'm the lucky one. Obviously she has a poor man-choosing skills.
Anyway, we were helping out with some Black Bear den work Spring '06. We have an exploding bear population in NJ. You should have seen the little crevice this mama crammed herself into. Quite impressive
