14 choices after 2nd guess & 5 after the 3rd.
Poor 3rd guess but it added the letter L which
made the solution possible.

The final NYT average for this puzzle was 4.1.

This one got me yesterday. I had thought of that word after my 3rd guess, but thought it might be too obvious given the date... Went another way for the 4th, then realized it was actually medal to get it in five.

Hard to solve a puzzle with only vowels to work with.
Lucky to choose the right word w/the 3rd guess to reveal
the letter & the pattern that I needed to solve it in 4.

The current NYT average for this puzzle is 3.9.

11/12/2022: Wordle 511 3/6 VALET

Per WordleBot, 5 choices after the 2nd guess but only
2 using the letter pattern that I chose to work it.
Didn't think of it but FACET was the other choice.

The final NYT average for this puzzle was 3.8.
