I haven't scored a 5 since 10/08/2022 (96 games ago) but another one could pop up any time.

I continue to post a "sad" emoji whenever anyone scores a 5 or above because it is "sad" or "disappointing" and not someting to be "liked" IMO but the intent is indicate sympathy and not a negative judgment.

So, remain at the ready with that "sad" emoji! LOL!

BTW, I started also posting the WOW! emoji for anyone who scores an Eagle or Hole-in-one (or even a Birdie if the average score is 4.5 or above which is a very high average score for any puzzle).

I kind of preferred the patronizing aspect to the sad smiley.. which is how I interpreted it - a bit salt in the wound.

Even though it's a suspect measure, I'm always happy whenever
I match or beat WordleBot's score.

Current NYT average: 3.4

30 choices after 2 and only 1 after 3. For me the 3rd word choice
is always crucial to "saving Par" and avoiding a Bogey or worse.

Final NYT average: 4.1
