On Playing Wordle . . .

Just a friendly reminder not to "spoil" the game for anyone who has not played it yet by revealing te answers or providing any tips to the solution before 24 hrs has passed and until the next game has started , which would be 0300 Hrs on the East Coast or 0000 hrs (Midnight) on the West Coast on the following day.

I made that mistake myself recently.

on the letter pattern that I chose. Didn't think
of the other word; just the answer.

The current NYT average for this puzzle is 3.9.

10/10/2022: Wordle 478 4/6 ENJOY

Only 2 possibilities per WordleBot after the 2nd guess --
either ENVOY or ENJOY. This was of those puzzles when
the "more obscure rule" didn't work but I have no problem
with that because PAR is still a good score and the "rule"
works more often than not and if you can avoid Bogies or
worse and score only Birdies and Pars, you're very doing well.

The final NYT averaage for this puzzle was 4.7. So, it was
a tough puzzle for many

Pretty obscure word.

3 possibilities after the 3rd guess per WordleBot.
Luckily, the only word that I could think of was the
answer. The other 2 word possibilites were more
common and would have been wasted guesses.

The current NYT average for this puzzle is 4.5.
So, you guys who solved in 3 did incredibly well!
