On Tap at Todd's

I never thought I would say this, but after having that Bourbon County the other day, this Dragon's Milk seems weak.

Oh man.... I was at Oaken Barrel on Saturday evening. One of their seasonal brews is "Undead Red." It's a red ale infused with coffee. So it was a good rich & malty red ale with coffee. Between the caffene and the 9% ABV, it was no slouch either.

Unfortunately, they had "NO GROWLERS" written under it on the board, so I couldn't bring any home.... So I had several there.

I've never heard of the "Undead Red", thanks for putting that one on my radar!

I've seen a bunch of the bourbon barrel stuff locally, but not tried it yet.
Turns out Narragansett just released a new Lager called the 'Bohemian' that will be in the standard lineup. It's a shockingly decent Pilsner.

Just had a Bourbon barrel Ale from Granite City and it was pretty tasty.

For a chain its pretty good Im sure it might vary from store to store since they make it all on site.

There is a beer around here Ive noticed recently called Bohemian. My brother in law and I picked up and split a 6 pack of it over thanksgiving, It wasn't bad, But I don't think its the same thing your talking about Daizee

Do you all get Founders or Central Waters? Their barrel aged beers are great.

We have the Founders. There breakfest stout is one of Murphs favorites. I'm not familiar with the Central Waters.

What we were drinking the other weekend... and what I'm having this evening is from Blue Grass Brewing co. out of Louisville, Ky. Founders is good stuff though.

I killed a 6pack of newcastle brown ale just to watch it die!

Here we drink our fine beers from the finest of glassware.:D

KBS=Kentucky Breakfast Stout? That one has eluded me for some time now. The regular Founders Breakfast Stout is a favorite of mine.

Good luck finding it. It's something of a rare beast, more demand than supply.

The places that even get it in stock here only get 1 case, and will usually limit people to 1 or 2 bottles.

I got some a few years ago, talked to the place ahead of time and reserved my 2 bottles on a list.
