I have a guess then. Won't post it though...I don't want to ruin it. You can PM me if the suspense is killing you though.
The Tiger is a production knife now, so chances are you'll be able to get one for retail at some point or another. You can find them on eBay. A Combat Systems Fighter (Tiger blade/RH handle) might be harder to find/get, if that's what you are referring to.Looking for a Tiger or a Fighter. I will probably end up with a CQC-15 full size with partial serrations or a phalanx. I have been bitten by the bug
Check out the Aftershock - now THAT is underrated.Just got the serrated Tiger in the mail. Very impressed. Wish the blade was a tad more proportionate to the handle but I understand why and overall very happy. It is super secure in withdraw cuts and very comfortable. Probably going to sell my ZT0620 and ZT0630 to fund more Emerson's. Between the Vindicator (highly underrated) and this Tiger I really have the sickness.
I have my eye on a few different Bowie style as well as tanto style Emerson’s. That is definitely one of them!Check out the Aftershock - now THAT is underrated.
Both those ZT's are very nice knives. I have the pair and I'll be hanging onto them since they are Emerson designs.Just got the serrated Tiger in the mail. Very impressed. I picked them both up in M390 but have the CTS version of the 0620 as well.True I probably should as they are well built and finished knives in S35VN and ELMAX but without starting a war I do prefer liner locks to frame locks. I have had several slip on me and one cut my index finger on my left hand down almost to the bone. Luckily it was so sharp and clean of a cut it didn't that hurt much and I sealed it up with skin stitch.
I always thought the Commander had the best grip of all, until I handled an Aftershock. A bit more Roadhouse-like than Commander-ish, but IMHO definitely a step up from either.I have my eye on a few different Bowie style as well as tanto style Emerson’s. That is definitely one of them!
