I'd probably be happy with my Hogue 4" Drop Point G-Mascus. I can't see it failing on me under reasonable use nor do I see it wearing out for a long time. It's a perfect blend of cost, aptitude, weight, blade grind, size that does it all and ease of carry. It's in my pocket now in fact:
