one knife? restricted rules

Every time this question is asked, I give a different answer. This time it is a Spyderco, BG-42, Carbon Fiber Military.

Haha I do the same thing, right now it would be a benchmade 940. Super light and small/thin and offers a good size blade with good steel.I've been carrying one for about 2 weeks now, and I don't want to switch it up for a while. Who knows, this may become my new work knife that I have been searching for!

If it is custom then my Andrew Demko AD10 or my Alan Davis custom. If it is production then my Benchmade 940 or my Spyderco Para 2 with CTS 20cp. Thanks! Kevin :D

That's a tough one; it'd either be my Spyderco PM2 or Benchmade Rift, but likely the Rift because it was from my fiancee and kids.

Nothing fancy huh? I guess I'd take the Skyline too then. S30V bladeforums special preferably.

I dont know about other people but im not spending that much on a Strider or Chris reeve knife I don't care what it is made of , you could buy a gun for the price they go for

I would go the traditional way. For a simple single blade knife, I'd choose an Opinel #8. Most people - also non-knife people - are familiar with Opinels, they're legal, they're lightweight, have a sharp edge, a locking blade and can perform most of the tasks I need a knife for. And if I would ever lose it, they're available at most outdoor shops.

A simple slip-joint folder for me. This is my EDC, a #55 by GEC.

Pm2. Light, s30v rocks, durable, works when filthy, works with gloved hands and cold conditions, smooth action... Need I say more?
