One Stop Knife Shop POOR SERVICE!!

HI
That's just horrible I have learn that lesson too,:( so what I do now in days I contact the manufacture company directly and very politely ask about the items/s I need and when will they shipping out including the distributors that will get them first. So far this has work for me, hope it works for some one out there. Most of the times I end up putting an order directly from the company that manufactures them.

Thanks for the feed back regarding that company, I am sure to avoid any business with them.:)

Always remember to hit F5 when posting a long reply;)

There's a reason why you should read a thread in its entirety before replying and illustrating your ignorance of both sides of the story.

To make it simpler for you...read here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ife-Shop-POOR-SERVICE!!?p=9627129#post9627129

Of course if you just came on to troll, your point is now well noted.

Back to my original agreement post with Danbo

And Kevin should apologize?

Someone has embellished or is full of poop......................

Well, are you...?...Quack now or forever hold your bill peace.

Well, that changes things just a bit, doesn't it?
Yeah, no kidding. My condolences to Spark and anyone else who has the misfortune to have this guy as a customer (or, for that matter, as a buyer/trade partner on the Exchange here).

So you actually call the manufacturer? Seems like you have a lot of time on your hands there "cero-T". If you like to pay full MSRP, then more power to you. I'm sure they all appreciate it. Read more, post less "Cero-T". ;)

Read more, post less indeed. ;)
He never wrote he bought them MSRP from the manufacture directly.

Well, if one buys from the "Company that manufactures them" he/she is buying FROM the manufactur-er. If one buys from the manufacturer there is a good chance he/she will pay the manufacturer's price.......................................................or steal them!!

That's what he said, he did cause I read it but if I am wrong it's 1SKS's damn fault!!!

As someone who has purchased from 1SKS on multiple occasions, and read this thread in it's entirety, I find it difficult to believe the CS is lacking. I do admit my purchases were not through the internet, but in-store. Kevin was/is as helpful as one can ask for. And his dawg has the coolest eyes on any creature I've seen.

Yep. Spyderco's factory outlet is a few miles from me. Almost everything they sell is at MSRP. Boker's U.S. headquarters is even closer to me. Except for an occasional sale on some knives, same thing - MSRP. That's the way it works.

You're right, I didn't read the last line of that paragraph for some reason.:o

I'm glad Kevin took a few minutes to post the timeline and exactly what happened. That cleared up any misconceptions caused by the original post.

Wow...Yes most (not all) manufacturers actually sell at full MSRP so they are not in direct competition with their wholesalers.

Strange how quiet the OP has been since Spark posted his explanation of what happened...

Maybe the cat has got his tongue?

Or maybe he is now so low he needs a ladder to reach the keyboard...................

Kevin kinda gets a free pass from me for making this site available.

That said, my sole experience with 1.S.K.S. is that I sent two separate emails asking about hard to find items that were shown as "in stock," asking if they really were in stock. I didn't receive an email in response, so I didn't place an order.

When in doubt, call the 800 number.
