Only 2 knives for s.h.t.f

If I could only pick 2, easy, it would be the BK-7 and the Esee 3 that rides on my belt most of the time. Not much that I couldn’t do with that combo in a survival scenario.

I gonna rephrase the question, if you only had 2 knives when s.h.t.f and those are your 2 knives till the break or you die, through societal collapses, whether it's you getting out of a city in the first 3 days, or goin dark in a rural environment.

TOPS Pry Knife.
The blade on a pliers-based multitool.

If that doesn't count, then probably a Buck 110.

Let's be honest. I'm a town boy, I think adventures are nasty cold wet things that make you late for supper, and I would either be dead by the third day, or valuable enough for my knowledge that the other survivors would keep me safe.
Sounds like you may want a dagger then for protection of people stealing your food?

Well with these new parameters....my answer stays exactly the same.

Of the knives I have it'd have to be my Gerber Strongarm in 420HC and my Leatherman Wave, if multitools don't count I'd take my Manix 2XL. If it's what's on me at the time, it would be my Leatherman and a Sage 5 or the Manix 2XL, since the Leatherman is always in my backpack and I have either one of the Spydies with me every day.

I do own a TOPS Tracker 3 as well, which would probably come in very handy, but the Strongarm came to mind first and I'm more likely to pack the Strongarm, since it's lighter and smaller than the Tracker.

I've been thinking alot lately about scenarios like this and I'd like to own a bigger, beefier knife, something like a Becker BK9 or a Skrama 240, but money is tight right now and for my modest needs, I'm well equipped as it is.

I also own a Fällkniven A1, but I don't really trust that knife as much as I do the Strongarm or even the Tracker since I have already snapped the tip off while being stupid and that kinda killed the whole "survival-knife"-vibe of the A1 for me.

2 of these

Condor Bushcraft Parang, Bark River Mountain Man.
MT: Victorinox Spirit.

You'd want a multi-tool, and something fixed that you can't break, and you're not too precious about when you have to scrape, bang or pry with it.

I'd choose a cold steel srk and some kind of gerber - M600 pro scout maybe.

I like these threads…

If it’s still just two…

My Fiskars axe and the same CPK SDFK posted above. Good for Zombies, Commies, and anything else.
