I'm really glad you've resurrected this thread. I've tried to find it a few times with the Search function (without success) as I remembered I'd promised to answer a question in here somewhere if I could!

Stan Shaw just uses an old unsharpened knife blade. I'll ask elsewhere if I get the chance :thumbup:
