Opinions Needed: "Traditionalist" T-Shirts

I was hoping to stay away from a "pocket" t-shirt cause boy thats manly. LOL I think it would be cheaper to also do t-shirts without pockets.
 
I am in for one or two of whatever is decided.

I really like this one, but maybe with a smaller knife. Adding bolsters and a shield would also look good IMO.

Gettin' there, gettin' there, imho! ;) I'm in the "less is more" camp ..... love what you're showing on the front, but think the back could perhaps be a bit smaller. Now I'm trying to picture it in black with ??? color lettering. Hmmm .....

Ash, I think this whole idea of a t-shirt is great! It could be a good conversation starter with non-knife people, and those whose taste run along more non-traditional lines.

That looks much better with the knife colored in. But IMHO the word Traditional looks better under the knife, and in a simple non cursive lettering.



Well, while I'm at it, I think black on gray would look better, and more traditional as well....But what do I know, I dislike most colors:p
 
I like the black one, although on the front I would rather see
"Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades" underneath where it says Blade Forums instead of the year. Regardless I think t shirts are a great idea...and I will probably order one wether it has the year or the sub forum name.

I'm still not totally sold on the back, but I'm not creative enough to offer any other suggestions either. :rolleyes: But of all the ideas so far, I like this one best. ;) (Just one mans opinion).

"Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades" takes up a lot more space than "2010", I tried putting in under "BLADEFORUMS" but it looked cluttered, if you can come up with any ideas on where you'd like it placed I'm all ears.
 
Let's try to stay away from black t-shirts. I prefer grey. Black is super hot under my security uniform.

No problem Keith, I had some spare time so I figured I would help out, also I prefer black t-shirts.

Now I actually have to finsish picking up some supplies for my dorm and finish packing, I'll be back on randomly, so just leave any tweaks you guys have and I will try to fix or incorporate it.

Once we get a few different logos up, you can start a poll on T-shirt color, and then one on the logo, and then we can take the top 2 colors and top 3 designs and make a final poll for the T-shirt. I'd wait a few days though, there may be some hidden gems of t-shirt designs someones out there waiting to post up :thumbup:

Ash, do we have to decide/vote on one color only, or will we be able to choose from two or three or more colors?
 
What about a folksy image for the back of the shirt?

-It could be a silhouette of a group of kids playing mumbletypeg and maybe even one kid pulling the peg:D.

-An guy doing some whittling on an old porch

-A trapper making traps in the wilderness, or maybe he could be cooking up a freshly caught critter.

-Some guys fishing a river with one guy doing something with a knife.

...Just brainstorming here...
 
I like the way hwpaintballer has things laid out in post #55. Not stating a preference on the color, just on the design.
