I tried the Endura / Delica, but the back locks drive me nuts. I'm thinking about giving a Manix2 a try, because I've like the Axis lock and this looks similar.

Still have to order a ZT or two first.

Good taste? Lol, no I think that styles tend to be so different among major manufacturers that it comes down to what you personally like. Then you back your brand.

Just preference. I have owned a few spyderco, 1 benchmade, sog, esee, sykco, buck etc...

The following is just a reminder, I'm not singling anyone out here just a friendly reminder!
Just so we are clear guys, we will not say anything negative towards any other company or group on here, we all are equalls and will continue to get along no matter the circumstances. We all love blades and the forums, so lets show what we are all about and set a good example!

I used to own several Spydercos many years ago, and like most, I was put off by the aesthetics, the FRN handles, and the serrations. I gifted them to my friends who were EMTs at the time, and they absolutely loved them. They had clips, cut seat belts and tough fabric like butter, and worked well with gloved hands. I thought, well good for them, at least they can put them to good use as part of their kit.

A few years back, someone gave me a Spyderco Native with FRN handles and I disliked it right away for the old reasons that I had, except this was PE. But I carried it a bit and found that it was extremely comfortable, and I started to get it. Someone said that your hand sees what your eyes can't when it comes to Spydercos, and they were absolutely right. The Spyderhole has become my favorite method of blade deployment, especially after I had to use my left hand when I had tendonitis in my right for a while. I have my favorite models when it comes to the different knife brands, like the Emerson CQC-10, Benchmade 581 Barrage, ZT0200, and my Spyderco All-Ti Military M4. Out of all those favorites, the Military is without question #1 for me, so much so that I even got another Ti Military and the CF M390 just so I could swap the M390 blade into it. I feel it's that good, even over everybody's favorite Spyderco, the PM2.

Geez, what happened? Did I hurt everyones feelings!? I was just a friendly reminder gents!

No school today for the little ones, and my wife just got sent home, It's the end of the world! Snowocalypse! I won't be able to buy bread or milk for at least a week now, Eh.

I will never hate on a knife company, but i like KAI much better. I have handled a lot of knives, owned a few buck, remington, schrade, mac tools etc, and i keep coming back to kershaw. Always will

I solemnly swear *raises right hand* to have a friendly relationship with any of the Spyderco lovers, and other groups. I will do my best to co-exist with them and to not cause any problems. I will be nice and reasonable. Nothing between me and any other lover of knives from another company will happen. *lowers right hand*

I love everything about Spyderco. I know I will get in trouble for saying this but, I like Spyderco a tiny but more than Kershaw/ZT:eek: Just by a small margin though. I like how they use a bunch of different steels and I adore the opening hole. By far my favorite opening mech.

On a brighter note. I grabbed my 0561 last night off of my dresser and flipped it once. Holy cow! I forgot how fantasticly (That's a word) smooth that knife is. ZTVT is great! I like calling it KVT more. Kind of rolls off of the tongue.
