Good trade but slicing one's self is never the fault of the knife!

No it's not. But I don't like the operation either. It wasn't just because I cut myself, there were other things I didn't like about it either.
Here's what I traded for.

I once took a Blue Delica down to about 11-12 degrees per side. I swear that thing could whittle the air.

And plus I've wanted a RAM for a really long time. If I can get a RAM, AND a Leek for the knife I'm lukewarm about I'll take without thinking twice.

My my. Have you never touched a Para 2?

My go to Spyderco knife. I really like the Gayle Bradley though, just a classy design with a great feel and steel. Little difficult to deal with as a lefty but I have become one with it.

Yah that is a good one too!

Have you done M390? If so is it harder or easier to sharpen than damascus? I don't have much damascus experience but I know M390 can be a brute.

Difficultly with sharpening all depends on the heat treat. I don't find either Damascus or M390 hard to sharpen. Spyderco's M390 is harder than Benchmades. My main sharpening tool is a sharpmaker. I bought some lower grit rods for re-profiling doesn't take long at all.

I never had a problem with Damascus until the Shallot... I have even done elmax steel and never had a problem
