Too sharp might be when you find yourself constantly cutting chunks out of your cutting boards. Had that happen with Shun Kramers.
 
BTW, this thread moves too damn fast, by the time I respond to something, three more topics have been discussed.

Huh, that's weird. I expected more super glue jokes. Oh well you can't have everything.

The house I used to live in had Gardner Snakes all around it. It was next to a swamp so that's why. Frogs and some smaller birds are what I would usually find. We had these rail-road tiles lined up next to the drive-way and we'd lift them up and catch any snakes that were trying to get out of the sun. At one time I started to record their size and if they had anything weird going for them than I'd mark that down too. They were all usually 1'2"-1'8". The biggest one I got was about 2'1". I only managed to get bit twice. Once on my middle finger and once on my arm. Didn't really feel anything because their mouths were really small and they had little teeth. I caught one snake and part of his "tail" had been taken off so I called him/her Stubby. I was able to catch him two separate times. I wish I had a pet snake. Just something small and easy to take care of.
 
Good morning you sexy Popsicles! Before I went to bed last night, I stacked up my entire Skyline collection in the closet. My wife asked what I was doing, so I just told her I was playing with a knife. At least that in itself has become commonplace. If I told her about every Skyline... I'd be dead right now. Damn I'm glad I got that second BFC piece. It's better than the first one. Nicer sharpening job, smoother travel out of the box. I told myself I wouldn't carry these...and I don't want to cheat on my CF Blur, but these S39V Skylines make it very difficult.

I love snakes, thanks for posting the pictures. I love all animals really, evolutionary biology has long been a pet study of mine underneath literature, and often times I just enjoy looking at living things. It's just cool to me.
