Again, late to the party, snowing hard here.

Regarding 90's Jeeps, what you have to watch out for is the transfer case. The 249 has a viscous coupler that needs work at around 125K miles. It's full time 4WD and only selectable between 4H - N - 4L. One way to check for the coupler problem is to turn all the way to the left or right, and go in a circle while checking for wheel hop. Other than that part and the rear drum brakes, the Jeeps are solid.

I lined up against a Lightning once, at Englishtown. I slept at the light, but he was still faster nonetheless. He had a supercharger and was tubbed on some monster slicks. Video is very grainy and shaky, was uploaded from my friend's iPhone.

Is the G10 worn around the hex end of the pivot? If so, using a flat eyeglass screwdriver should hold it against one of the flats so it doesn't turn.

Ill play,

that me.

Knotty has the solution for that.
You betcha I do. I should have some left over from the box that Chester shipped his goodies in....because he super glued a ridiculous amount of it so I couldn't get it open. It took me a good 10 minutes.

ummm the flathead trick isn't working. It's just spinning overtop of it, and if I use a bigger head, it just drills a hole. (that's what she said, I know)

with the blade out, hold the knife while pushing against the side of the blade with your finger and loosen the torx screw.

hehe. That's funny.
Hhahahahahaha well played Chester
I felt like I was having a spaz attack trying to get it opened.

Aww, is someone having trouble. Don't worry, everything will be alright. Just don't panic, that's probably the worst thing you can do at this time. "and if I use a bigger head, it just drills a hole." I still can't stop laughing.
