The black Cryo looks pretty snazzy. I am tempted to get one...but I'd really rather a Cryo 2 whenever those come.

The price on the Skyline really surprised me. Not much more than a standard Skyline. I'd been dreading the financial hit since I got on Dave's pre-order list, but it looks like I might actually be able to get a Leek and Skyline (the two I wanted).

Microtech is actually making these with Chris' permission. Chris and Tony are good friends, in fact Chris taught Tony how to grind and ground a lot of early MT blades.

I could not be more shocked by that statement. I figured them for polar opposites. Well looks like I'm wrong here, my bad. But in my defense, it's hard to believe with Mr. Marfione's.......previous actions

I second all that. I'm wicked surprised. Oh well, doesn't change my opinion about him or Microtech.
 
On a lighter note I am more excited to hear from Dave than I have been for Christmas for quite some time. Bringing that child like excitement back into my life earns Dave my order on its own, and to think of the beautiful things I will be getting...:D
 
So guys. What are some of your other hobbies outside of knives? That surprises me with Microtech as well. @whateatsrabbits I personally would go with a Leek. I just like the looks better. But the Shallot does look good too...
