So what genres of literature do you like stick? I am assuming serious stuff since you are obsessed with literature and not "reading". I am a die hard Stephen King fan myself.

Almost anything. I read plenty of novels, but recently my favorites are books about turn of the century NYC, before upper Manhattan was even part of the city, and still had grass and open land. Detective stuff in that era, crime novels, historical fiction. I read Gods of Gotham and The Alienist not long ago, they were unbelievable. I don't personally make much distinction between literature as a thing and other types of material. At least not in the snooty way some people sometimes do. My favorite author is Poe however, I'm obsessed with him. My wife and I visited one of the Poe houses in Philly when we went there, it was an amazing experience.

I love music too. I will try and do a video of some tricks once I have gotten practiced up a bit. I have not thrown for about half a year. But I have a lot of the muscle memory still. I like going to plays, I was in highschool drama every year until I graduated. That was always a lot of fun.

I would love to get into paintballing. I just need some other people to do it with. We actually have a really large course, if I remember right it is like 50 acres of playing. Speedball course, a woods course, and then a king of the hill course where they built a giant castle. What kind of gun setup do you run Stick?

Most of todays yoyos are made out of 6061 aluminum. Although some have now ventured into titanium ( not cheap ) and 7071 aluminum. Also crazy ano's are the name of the game.

HS drama is great. My wife directs the musical every year at her school, I've been playing the drums for the shows every year also. It's amazing what those kids can do sometimes. Being the only person you know that wants to play paintball sucks...for a long time, I had that same problem. I rarely ever went to play. It's very fun though, I doubt I'll ever give it up. I've got a lot of equipment as a result of the YouTube thing, but I usually play with a Geo (original) with a 45/4500 tank and an original Empire Prophecy loader. My buddy uses a Geo 2.1 with a Prophecy Z2. I've got an Empire Axe sitting in the closet, it's kind of loaner. I actually won it in a contest where I made a video and had people vote. Couldn't argue with winning a $400 gun. :D

It's awesome that they make yoyos out of the 7000 series Al. That's some great stuff, I wish they made paintball guns out of it. If I weren't so terrible at it, I'd get more into it.

My wife and I make slate paintings, wine bottle candles, redneck wineglasses,

I can figure what the wine bottle candles are, but what are slate paintings and redneck wineglasses? They sound interesting.

All of u who wanted LE green n purple blurs go get I'm while u can nutnfancy jus reviewed them!

Banned from the group.

Music is my life along with knives. Couldn't live without it really.

:) I hear ya.

I watched The Man With the Iron Fists the other day too, turned out to be pretty good.

Interests outside of knives...
I used to be really into PC gaming, not so much anymore. I still build custom gaming systems though, and run my own computer consulting company. I also do home theater installs for some of my clients if it ties in to their computer and network needs.
I was in the Army ROTC rifle team during college, and still go out to the range from time to time. Thinking of getting my pistol permit.
Drag and roadcourse racing, doing tweaks to the car in the offseason.
I fish whenever I can.

It was good except for Rza...he's not a very good actor. Actually, he's a pretty terrible actor. Silver and Bronze Lion looked like Sigfried and Roy.

You enjoy the Valve games? Half-Life and Half-Life 2 formed much of my early teenage years and my feelings towards science fiction.

No I wasn't outside chopping the tree. I was at a friends with our "group" of people. It's just us 4 and that's it....unless you want to count one's girlfriend, who I like to call ball & chain. Then I went to baseball practice for 2 hours and now I'm at my dads house for the rest of the weekend. No chopping while I'm here.

I'm on the fence about hot chocolate. Whenever I drink it my mouth gets really "salivated", if that makes sense. But my other half says it tastes really good because when I'm having it I feel better.

I don't necessarily like literature, but I do well at it in school. I enjoy reading mainly non-fiction books. Right now I'm reading Killing Kennedy. I haven't read a lot though because I've been busy with school work and sports. Before that I read Killing Lincoln and I loved that book. It's a good read if you get the chance. Other then books about our history, I really enjoy reading books about war. Mainly the Iraq/Afghanistan war, but I also like the Vietnam War and a little bit about the Civil War. I'm really excited for that new show Inside Combat Rescue. Any show like that and I'm all over it.

I used to be really into airsoft, but it's expensive and nobody around me knows what a quality airsoft gun is. They think that the guns from Wally World and sporting goods stores are the absolute s***. I'll tell a story if you guys don't mind. While I was at my friends yesterday and today, they brought their airsoft guns over. They were talking about them and looking and I was over in the corner just smirking and chuckling to myself. They had absolutely no idea that their guns were crap, which doesn't really mind me, but it's when they start spitting out complete crap about them to make their guns sound cool. One of them had a Famas and was bragging about it and everything, and I asked how much FPS (Feet Per Second) it had and he said "Ummm....about 450." I couldn't help but laugh a little bit and continued to ask questions about it. After I was done having my fun, he started talking about it to another friend. This is the best part, he said "Yeah, it's got 450FPS, which means it shoots 450 feet every second." *facepalm*. No, that is not what it means. You will be lucky to hit someone at about 250 feet with one of the "best" snipers.

Busy week, been carrying the 0200, cut a lot of cardboard, leather, plastic, wire, rubber. It still slices paper clean, and after quick thigh strop back to popping hairs.

I sold my grey area friction folder on the bay for 460 dollars, haha. Ive been so paranoid about getting robbed. By the ghetto ass post office I mailed it from or the silent bidder who lives in the same town as the maker of the knife? I just want the moneys to clear so I can go strider shopping.

Yeah, played Team Fortress for a while, but was more into Quake 3/Arena and Unreal Tournament. Later on, went into MMORPGs.
Made these two systems in February of 2000:

Anyway, here is how far I got after over an hour on the Wicked Edge and about 15 minutes on the paper wheels, and still not done:

For comparison, my Gayle Bradley took about 30 minutes total to reprofile and polish the edge.

Lol I used to run a cal m team in cs:s, so ya I was a little serious about gaming. Now its pretty much just diablo 3 i cave black ops 2 on ps3 but just havnt really played it barely at all.

Quake 3 arena is awesome, we should get a game going sometime.
Call of duty 4 changed FPS multiplayer to another level.
I play grand turimo 5 a lot do some drifting SeR_SpecV.

go0ey that K2 is ridiculous, please keep us informed on how the rex holds up to cutting. I'm expecting you to answer in a couple years.

This was my first double post but now I have edited it 4 times.

yea, it's extremely wear-resistant. I've put the mule through a lot, and the edge is still perfect even after being reprofiled to a lesser angle than when I first got it. The K2's blade is quite a bit longer though, and takes more work to get the edge down to where I want it. It's extremely sharp now and you can barely feel it cutting through paper but I'm still not satisfied. I might just send it out to the master, richardj. The pivot Farid uses is one I've never come across. You can tighten it nicely and it has a different-sized allen screw insert that you can set the pivot screw's depth to. I also found what he refers to as a "heat-treated beryllium copper pivot spring", pretty slick.

Does anybody play Forza Motorsports 4? I love that game.

Haven't in awhile, but I love Forza, been playing it since Forza 2. I don't play CoD that much. Still don't own Black ops 2, and don't plan to, it's essentially the same game every time. The last time I played a video game, was probably in early January.

@ gooey berillium sound like something nuclear, awsome. So its a wave spring like in an auto trans and the crazy pivot compresses the blade into the spring?

@knotty forza is a great game, but I'm a play-station kinda guy.

I haven't played a video game in awhile myself. I've just kind of lost interest in them. They don't really appeal to me, and I've got better things to do.....like browse BladeForums.

Used to play a lot of GT5. Haven't for awhile though.

Chris, pink sign for two weeks, MEOW!

Knotty, if you like civil war stuff my neighbor wrote a semi fictional book on a battle that want far from my place. Let me see if I can find it.

Mario, slate paining are just slate roof tiles weathered then you paint whatever on them using outside acrylic paints. Redneck wine glasses are small mason jars glued onto glass candlemarios I mean candlesticks! :D I have set of old handled mason jars I exclusively drink from!
