The 777s for sale on the Exchange are being sold by idiots. There, I said it. I'm not even talking about the prices, but that guy with the wrong info and then the guy who thinks he's hot stuff telling people how rare it is.

There should be a screening process for these kinds of pieces to prevent them being sold to used car salesman types.

It's pretty obvious these were purchased with the sole intent of trying to turn a quick buck. I don't think they've even been out for 2 weeks yet. While it's certainly within their right to try exploiting the secondary market, this borderlines profiteering. They're not trying to make money by providing a useful product or service or adding value to the system, but instead are profiting solely by trying to sucker someone into paying an inflated price.
 
That's a very good point flarp... Perhaps someone should point that out? I'm not sure of I should PM a mod or something...
 
For as much as the knife costs, you'd figure these people would put forth a little thought before actually buying them.

Received my new ZT0777 yesterday and it exceeded my expectations! It's a little large for my taste and I prefer a blade no longer than 3 1/2".

Just got it in the mail today. Opened the box to inspect it, and it's an amazing piece. Everything is perfect. Problem is, I would never carry it.

Really?! You'd drop $500 without even looking up the specs? Or without giving thought as to what you'd do with it (be it carrying, putting on display, or a safe queen)? A more accurate post might be "I just picked up a limited edition knife with the sole intention of price gouging someone here on the forums. Any takers?"

I wouldn't carry one either, and that's exactly why I didn't buy one. That and by the time I was willing to drop that much on a knife it was too late.
 
Better believe I'd carry it!

Looks like the gentleman who was having trouble centering his 0350 is actually friends with a kid I ran track with in highschool. Small world!
