I really like the look of acid etching blades now. I just got done doing up the CS recon 1 was modding last week. I just updated the thread in the M,T& E forum. It turned out reaaaaaally cool!

Anyone want a knife etched? I’ll do it for freeeeeee :)

So, I'm outlining my fantastic giveaway, for the Order of course. Two of the prizes are a Kershaw hat, and a ZT hat. The other will be a knife, but I've yet to choose one. I thought about giving away one of my Damascus Skylines, but part of me thinks one of you guys would just turn around and sell the thing. :p Kidding!

But I'm a bit attached to them, so I'm instead thinking of a regular production knife. I'm willing to make it a really nice piece, so I'm open to suggestions. $100 limit, preferably, and I'll in all likelihood be getting it from Dave...so, throw some ideas at me gentlemen. :)

Hmmmm, I say either the Echelon or a Speedform II. If you want to be super nice (with a cherry on top of course), giveaway a Damascus Leek (White) or Shallot (White).

I wanted out conversation to go to PM because you were getting nasty and insulting (breaking the rules?) and I didn't want that here. But that didn't really work. lol. Anyway I'm a sarcastic kind of guy, it's not "backhanded" it's funny. YMMV

Stick that's awesome, my recommendation is the speedform II if Dave still has it, seems like an awesome knife, pretty rare, collectables and in your budget. Not really sure what's going on with some of the arguing so I am off to read some previous pages of the thread I missed.

How about any of the other Damascus ones? Any of the onion series would be awesome (and all appear to be in stock on Dave's site). You could also put as a condition of the giveaway that the winner not turn around and sell/trade it away. I know it's impossible to enforce, but we're supposed to be an honest, respectable group, right? ;)

He's also got the RDSW Skylines in stock. Or the black and bead-blasted Cryos.

Oh no, those 1760BLSW's are in a special part of the case, guarded my sharks with laser beams attached to their heads. Ideas so far are a Damascus piece, Leek or Shallot, one of the 1760RDSW, Speedform II, CF Blur Blem, and Echelon. I like all of those, but I didn't remember that Dave had CF Blur blems still... The CF Blur is my favorite knife ever...it's tempting to give someone the same enjoyment.

I've seen multiple cf blurs in the exchange recently. I thought Dave still had some, but I might be wrong.
Or you could giveaway a 0350 blem or 0200 blem.
 
Sounds pretty awesome no matter what you go with, out of curiosity what zt hat were you talking? I have the black one with blue logo and love that thing

Those might push the spending limit I'm looking for. I'm about to list a Spyderco in the Exchange that should fund this whole thing, so I'm aiming to keep it within that...

Yes, the black hat with the blue logo, adjustment strap in the back. It is indeed a nice hat, even though it isn't a FlexFit.
