On a separate note, the hair on my head is gone. I went in for my regular buzz cut. I usually get it cut down to a #1, all even. Last time, the gent went a little too far up on the sideburns, so I've been growing the facial hair out to even it up when I got it cut again. The guy didn't understand me when I asked him to even it out, and took the comb off the clipper and went straight up into my hair taking the whole of it off in one swoop. So...no choice but to even it out.

Fine, not a big deal, it'll grow back evenly anyway. So I go home to shave in my beard/goatee or whatever it's called (it looks just like my avatar, for reference), and since there's just so much facial hair, I try to remove some of it with my clippers so I don't go right at it with the razor. Of course, I'm not paying attention enough and take half my beard clean off. I even that out, and now I look like a fat bald baby.

It's pretty funny, I'm not too bothered by it, but damn my chin is cold.

Well. I just found out why my purple Blur wouldn't center. I've been fiddling with it and my other black one swapping out parts to see if it would center. I decided to put the 14c28n one in there and BAM! It's centered. So there's something wrong with the CPM-154 blade:grumpy:

MY GRIPTILIAN IS GETTING FIXED!!!!!!
A BM tech is going to get me a new blade, and etch everything exactly how it is on my Grip. Faith in BM points restored.
pbcg/Paul is the one to thank for getting me the tech's info.

Will, you're all clear.

Here's one you don't see talked about all that much, the "diskin flipper"

image_zps2537f94f.jpg

Designed by custom knifemaker Matt Diskin, the Diskin is a streamlined shark of a knife. And yes, it is assisted opening, but the Diskin features Matt’s own assisted-opening system. This new technology gives the knife even greater design flexibility. You can see it in the clean, simple lines that characterize this new knife. The Diskin opens for lefties or righties with a handy, built-in flipper. A locking liner secures the blade in place. And it includes a handy pocket clip.

Specifications:
Steel: 8CR13MOV stainless steel
Handle: Glass-filled nylon
Blade Length: 3.125" (7.9 cm)
Closed Length: 3.5" (8.9 cm)
Overall Length: 6.375" (16.2 cm)

Specs and pics from blade HQ

So what do you guys think of it? I want one when they come out!
