It was going to be 8Cr13Mov, not 14C28N. It was supposed to be a Chinese model. I say was, because they didn't go through with the design and cancelled it. There isn't, far as I know now, going to be the Diskin flipper.


I'm wondering how much I could get on eBay for one of my BLSW Skylines...I'm trying to fund a Hinderer... *sigh* And it's still a bit funny that the market is saturated with Damascus Skylines, and people still posting on eBay like theirs is worth what they're asking. $175? Hehehe...morons.

Time for some franken-leeks. :cool:
 
Well, orange franken-leeks sounded like a good idea, but it's not going to work out. For future reference:

-Blades from a frame lock model will not fit a liner lock model.
-The plain edge Random Leek has a round pivot on the locking side instead of the standard hex found on other models, making the screw impossible to remove.

What about other colored leeks? I was wanting to mix a purple, and orange leek together.

That should work. They are both liner lock and have the regular hex pivots.

I was so pumped for an orange damascus and an orange random leek, It's really the only reason I bought the other 2 models and 2 extra orange in the first place. Looks like I'll have 4 up for sale soon. :foot:
