Actually I work for Keystone RV, which very well could be a sub division of Monaco. I don't work to many hours so far. And once I hit Peace Rate I will have plenty of knife money :D. What delivery company did you work for?

It was more of a rhetorical question.
And I think the chances of me being able to go to blade has slimmed a bit.
 
I loved that warlock tuffthumbz made! I fell in love when I saw it. It's cool to be seeing people like him and Gavko making knives and doing cool pimpjobs.
 
Well I sacrificed a kershaw blade tonight as a test mule for acid wash. I'm prepping to acid wash my 560 blade and tested 3 different concentrations on the needs work blade I'm feeling the middle one gives the best look.

What changed the position of the Kershaw sub-form?

Are you just going to acid etch it or are you doing a stonewash on top of it? If you are stonewashing it, i’d go with the darker finish. The finish tends to get lighter when you stonewash after acid etching. So i’d etch it a little darker than what you want the finished product to look like.
 
Thank you for that tip steb yes I do plan yo stone wash it afterward just a little tho I want it to look a little rough.

No problem! I’m sure you know about putting the nail polish on certain parts to keep it from ruining the tolerances/edge right?

ASM I would acid dip, then sand, then dip, then sand you know a couple times to get it nice and deep where its not going to rub off easily.

I posted a bunch more pics it the picture thread.

I hear you Chester I have been having to say good bye to some of my children recently, but my 0560s will never leave. They are just "that knife" to me
