You're all making the assumption that it'll even ever leave my home... I may skip town and leave Chet with my XM-18. :D
 
Well at a stopping point for tonight its been etched 4 times wet sanding between color is almost perfect I had to put it "together" to see how it looked. Tomorrow its going to get a very light stone wash and a nice long afternoon of sharpening and that will be end of story here is a pic about 2-3 dips in.

looks great so far! If you would have put the resist on the edge, you could have saved yourself a lot of time sharpening, and saved the edge steel from being eaten by the acid.
 
I tried to save the edge with the resist bit it was really uneven so I said screw it and took the resist off. The solution is ferric chloride with a 90sec soak then light sanding. And repeat 3-4 times last time no sanding gonna let the stone wash save it. And I was pretty sure that the stone wash was gonna beat up the edge so I'm actually looking forward to re sharpening it.
 
Update blade is in dryer getting its stone wash currently cant wait for the timer to go off and see what I have created

No, it's not your videos! Yours are about the perfect length. I usually fall asleep while watching tuffthumbz or Jim Skelton's videos because they're like 20 minutes long. I don't have a problem watching them because I enjoy them, but I fall asleep 9 times out of 10. I can only stay awake if the video is interesting, like a chopping video.

Anybody know what the Tilt that just sold went for?
 
One of my good friends has been sick for 29 days now. He hasn't been to school in weeks and he's been to the hospital 3 different times. The doctors still don't know what's wrong with him. Right now they're "clearing out" his system. He can't sleep because he's running to the bathroom, and when he does get to sleep it's anywhere between 16-20 hours. He can barely eat anything. He has maybe a cracker here and there, but usually pukes it up. The only thing he can keep down is tea. Every test so far has come up negative.
