Well, their show Bullsh*t was one of my favorite works of television, and Penn Jillette usually speaks at skeptic conferences and things like that. I'm one of those skeptic folk, also a member of the NYC Skeptics. His talks are always amazing, I love his books, and his knowledge of the history of comedy is not easily bested. He's also responsible for introducing me to Billy West (voice actor), and apart from all of that he's an extremely smart guy, we agree on a lot of political/philosophical things.

I realize that all says quite a bit about me...perhaps inadvertently so.
Hahaha I never would have guessed! I can dig that, I am quite skeptical about alot of things myself. Nothing like a good argument er discussion between friends! NYCS sounds like it could be fun and interesting!
i think m4 is my favorite steel. It touches up super easy, it holds an edge for so long, and it's really not a rust magnet like people say........hint hint kershaw
where's my m4 blur????
Yeah, well me marrying into a nice Jewish family after denouncing a Catholic upbringing is something most people wouldn't have guessed of me.It happens. I studied religious texts for a long time in my undergrad years so biblical study is, oddly enough, something I'm pretty well versed in despite my...lack of faith.
That being said, I keep my skepticism pretty open and loud. Calling BS on psychics, multi-level marketers (a big problem in NYC colleges), and all the people who try to fleece unknowing people has been a very big part of my life for a long time. Some of my friends call it "consumer protection" but I just call it anti-bullsh*t. You'd love one of the our conferences Justin, they're fun. We all get together, drink, and talk about how full of crap Dr. Oz is and how much damage Oprah and the anti-vaccination crowd has done to society. Good times.
Ha, NO!
