I mean i LOVE my 561, and i do mean love. I carry it daily, and cant take it out of my pocket, but i cant bring myself to carry it.

you know, i have heard it said more than a few times, that the best way to convince someone that "faith"(ie the christian one) is to have them ACTUALLY read the bible... Its messed up, and i know im amongst the minority still these days, but where u say lack of faith, i say atheist, regardless of the stigma that's attached to that word. That being said, i wont argue about it or bring it up in this place, because i like the general atmosphere here and l like you guys. I do, however, have a tendency to lose friends on forums that way lol.

I would like to say however, that im really not as impressed with the 0560cbcf as i thought i would be.... I kinda want to trade it for an large senenza 21 insingo, but im still unsure. How do u guys like urs? all fanboyisms aside that is

Really the only thing I don't like about the CBCF is the GIMPING!!!
I wish they wouldn't have jimped so far back on the handle, so my finger doesn't rip off every time I open it.
Other than that, it's f-ing awesome. That S110V is really easy to touch up, and the handles are so SWEEEEET!!!

Well there's your problem... You got to carry it. What's the point in buying it, if you don't carry it??

I $@#% you not.

Well, I openly talk about my being an atheist, and often enjoy the reactions I get from some people face-to-face. However since this is an internet-based group, I try to use more accommodating language to avoid confusion of intent. I'll openly talk about study of scripture though, since it's a great interest of mine. I've heard it said as well, by Penn Jillette also, that reading the Bible cover to cover is a good way to remove someone's faith. Personally, I don't really think that's the case. At least it's not that simple. It depends on a lot of things, and it's also a bit of a stretch to assume that someone reading either the New or Old Testament all the way through can really grasp everything in it and use it to analyze their worldview.

Having studied both Testaments and the books of the Torah, I can say that it's pretty complex stuff in its entirety whether you look at it as a literature tract or a religious foundation. At least, that's how I see it. Hopefully I haven't said anything that would cause any of the folks here to look down on me in any way though... I love my religious friends, they're the most fun to talk to. Most of my atheist friends get a bit boring...and annoying. You know...it's actually kind of like when I go to Slipknot concerts. Love the music, but a lot of the fans aren't people I particularly enjoy hanging with. Then I meet someone pretty cool and who do they love? Taylor Swift. Life's interesting like that.

It really sounds like we shouldn't hang out together, we might get into too much trouble :D

Seriously that sounds like a ton of fun! Anti-Bull$#!% is about as close to the truth as it gets! I can feel my wife rolling her eyes as I type this, she hates it when I speak my mind it embarrasses her deeply :D I cant help myself though :bull_head:

Yeah, we'd likely go chase after that Long Island Medium lady and expose her for the con-artist she is. My mother-in-law's friend ran into her a week or so ago, and I've been hearing about it since... ugh. *vomit*

Wow.... and crunchynut comes back.

You know mario the one thing I like about not being in a city full time is I don't have to put up with those "kardashian" famous like people. Although I live in the bible belt and people go to church 3 days a week like its going out of style. We always joke that the best time to go to the grocery store is sunday morning and wednesday night :D it's like shopping at midnight thirty!

Nope, the studs work awesome.
Though it doesn't flip faster than my TiLT, but it's A LOT smoother.

Yeah I guess my index finger is a little high up. I'll thumb stud it and the flipper will catch me on the way around... Working on my technique now. Just figured out the 0550 in the last few weeks.

Honestly, it sounds like we could have some really interesting conversations. I cant quote the bible like most theists can, no numebrs or book names, or at least not many. But i have read many many arguments both ways and LOVE to argue it, although my opinions do get in the way a bit lol. While i will agree that religious texts are VERY complex, they were never meant to be read by the every day common man when they were written. Most of these texts were meant to be interpreted by a single man, usually very studied, and applied through verbal teachings to the masses. I divulge though, and probably shouldn't keep going as i would probably be breaking forum rules in some manner or another lol. I really do like the forum medium to discuss things, but people tend to turn into keyboard thugs, riding on the coattails of greater minds than their own. I cant imagine how ur family reacted when you gave up ur faith, especially considering u studied it extensively. Must really put a perspective on things.

I like having friends who I disagree with. It makes life fun.

Hugs all around eh? :D

Ya know... Blade Show is almost here... :D
I love disagreeing with my friends. I have a little motto, "You're not friends unless you argue.". You and me have ha our disagreement before, and that' cool. We put it aside and move on.

*Hugs*

Are you going to video anything?
Tonight's the night :)

Look at that handsome devil! The dog is cute too :p.
