I just had some fun , completely disassembled and cleaned my tilt,300,560. first time for the tilt and 300.
Now let me tell you that tilt is precision, one weird thing is I could not get the pivot out of the lock side.
 
Weird! The only thing that drives me nuts when I take mine apart the TILT is the little lanyard tube part.. I always drop it like 5 times before I get it together
 
Nah I put it all together then realized I had to take the bolts out of the alcohol, so I put it down and it stayed together, no bolts at all.

And the 300 is a beast, it was also my first time taking apart. It had red locktite on the pivot. I bought it brand new so it must be factory. Rebuilding the 300 I felt like I was rebuilding a gun, the body screws are massive.


greenie, SAVE Up. I saved up for a tilt for like 6 months.

You'll notice it looks a bit like BobSig's. He helped me out with the main image components, and I learned some photoshopping skills along the way! :D Thanks Bob!!! :thumbup: I'll try to find a different background for my next iteration.

I had a cool message waiting on here for me the other day. Someone had seen my sig that I was looking a bottle opener and said they had one they would consider trading or possibly selling me. I am trying to come up with something to trade, but I dont think I have anything I'm willing to trade right meow. I need to come up with an offer and I dont want to be disrespectful. What to do, what to do. Maybe I'll see what he is looking for. I just wanted to share that with you guys. It never hurts to put it out there. There are still cool people out there!

I'm glad I did knot use the super glue. I probably would've if you guys did knot tell me too lol. Picking on people is part of the fun, It's what got me through most of my childhood.

I'm surprised someone saw that you were looking for a bottle opener, being that the writing is in light green/yellow :p. That is pretty cool though that someone saw that. A lot of great people on this forum. Hopefully you get it for a reasonable price/trade.

I think I'm going to take down my Cryo today. Should be pretty interesting and a fun little project. Never hurts to know how your knife looks on the inside, and how it works. I wish I was able to de-assist it, but you can't have everything.

There are some really cool people out there. I got two sprint run Para 2's for a crazy deal from a fellow on here.

You can drill your own detent ya know. Just gotta have a drill press or workstation for a dremel and a bit that's good enough to drill into the steel.

I did it to mine and it worked quite well. Here's a shot of the hole.

Yea, really pleased. Did my buddies 561 the other day. Took almost an hour to get no back bevel and keep even.
