Order of KAI Official Hang Out; Part Deux - It's Enrico Palazzo!

The same thing probably would've happened if I was dealing with Kershaw.

Not at all likely.

Hey Stick, did you ever get an S15??

Indeed I did. Been playing with it a lot lately. A great light, but bigger than I would've liked. I'm seriously spoiled my by ZL SC52w, it being a perfect neutral white as well.

ok, after further inspection, my 0200 is not mirror, i can see reflections, but not that reflective, how can i achieve the sharpest possible edge?

There are only a few people I know who can get an actual consistent edge that's fine and true enough to whittle hair (that's how it's spelled, by the way). If you're looking for the sharpest possible edge, a guided system would behoove you. It's difficult to get an edge perfectly true and sharp by freehanding unless you've developed a fair amount of skill.

If you're looking to refine an edge properly, you need to gauge your grits and media so that the scratch patterns appropriately progress to remove the previous one. Part of the reason why "systems" work is because they contain steps of grits in the same media, which helps to have a consistent progression of abrasive material. You can do that with sandpapers, diamonds, or whatever you'd like, but paying attention to the grit progression will aid in having a scratch pattern on the edge that trues up properly.

Tree topping edges are the sharpest I have gotten in terms of hair whittling. Or whittling the same hair several times in the same area. I can get edges where laying the hair on the edge and pulling slightly just pops it. I can also whittle hairs without stropping. Just takes practice. Sorry I like the topic of sharpening :o.

No.

What did you think about my post? Glad to see Kai corp stepped in and calmed the waters very nicely.

I do not either, I have seen a couple that look nice to me but have yet to hold any of those. The grips are ok in my opinion. I think of them almost like the skyline of BM. I've played with quite a few others and they weren't horrible just not my taste. The axis is alright, I don't hate it. I Don't mind some spyderco's either. Some appeal to me, others I have no comment!

Glad to hear it man! Sounds rough, we may need to ease back into that partying... just saying!

It was good. I posted something and edited it out, I was asking for trouble...:o

Gotta love General. :D

Yeah...I sure do

The worst that could happen is you lose the job and are back to jobless :). I say go for it. You seem like a sharp kid and I think you could do it.

VVV go for it, just remember they are the bosses and do whatever they ask you to the best you can. Starting a new job is always a bit nerve racking. I am no stranger to work and with my latest promotion I am still nervous while I am figuring things out. You have to believe in yourself and take chances sometimes. If they feal your condition may be an issue then that is their call but as long as you are honest about it then you don't lose anything by talking to them. Chances are to start out you would be doing things like cleaning up and restocking the shelves.

My first day of clean-up crew went well, but it was VERY hectic! Also, to give you guys an idea of how dirty I get, when I take my socks off, my feet literally look albino compared to my legs. I'm pretty much caked with mud.

Hey Everybody. Haven't posted in forever on here. I'm still kicking. Been carrying the ZT0801 everyday since I've gotten it and still love it very much. I wanna torch it so bad.

Hey Chester, still a chef? I hear such awesome things about the 0801 I see one in the not too distant future. Maybe when I settle into the new job some more in the next couple of weeks.
