The difference of 5 minutes can mean a lot. We were heading up Ute Pass when the flood hit Highway 24. Just a little bit earlier and we would have been in the flood/rockslide on Hwy 24. We were the 5th car back from the road block at the Cave of the Winds. (I saw us on the news this morning). We sat on the side of the road for about 3.5 hours until turning around. We were safe the whole time.

In Park Slope now, have an appointment to cut my son's hair at 10am. Its really nice out today...

Later on today we're going to go see Disney's Planes.

I prefer the giants yes, but I'm not a big football fan. I actually lean towards college football but having a 2 year old cuts down on my TV time.

Stickys mother in law is a HUGE giants fan. She never misses a game and is there yelling at the TV with the best of 'em

Shuffle update: The lockup was odd on mine. It looked like the lock interface on the tang was poorly ground, and had a weird step on the corner. It looked like they tried to break the corner a bit, or the machine slipped. The lock up was very early, and unless I really snapped it open, the lock would slip.

I took the lock face to the diamond file on my Leatherman, and knocked some metal off, evening out the tang. Now the lock up is still early, but the bar fully sits in the tang and it's solid. Now I just realized there's a tiny tiny chip on the edge. It seems a rogue diamond on the stone screwed me on the edge... Oh well. It'll eventually be sharpened away. This is a nice piece with a little bit of maintenance.

Well, got to check out some stuff at the gun show today, and I must say, although the 0801 was quite nice, smooth, and essentially perfect, I won't be getting one.

It's a bit too small for me, and the full ti was too slippery

Other than personal gripes, it was an outstanding knife

Well, they're not really talents, but whatevs. I used to wrestle and placed 1st at Regionals. I wrestled my heart out that tournament. It was definitely the most grueling thing I've been through. Everyone was taller than me too.

I also like to think I can drive a golf ball petty far.

Oh, and I'm the fastest detasseler here :cool:.

Good. I have the day off tomorrow and most likely Monday. I'm going to my moms for a few days because too much time spent around my step-mom will force you to be put into a mental institution. And, I'm driving my bike with my hot neighbor (:cool:) to Pizza Hut to eat a pizza.
