Order of KAI Official Hang Out; Part Deux - It's Enrico Palazzo!

8th grade...let's see...that was 30, er...35...no, 40...ahh nevermind. But I do drive by the school on a regular basis! I just can't remember what happened inside...

Lol I'm 27 and still consider these my younger days. Of course I do nothing but let them go by, I probably have been spending 12-15 hours a day at work since I got promoted. I am basically married to the farm and almost always on call and only have Wednesday off (that's only when we aren't slammed like we have been), so I couldn't really go out if I wanted to. But this is what one has to do to move up in my industry, honestly I am rather young for the opportunity I have been given so it kinda helps that I have the extra energy. But it is bittersweet because I know the day will come when I look back at all the time I can never get back, lol my boss even warned me before I took the position about that. My advice to all of the truly young members is enjoy all that you can. I had amazing hs and college years before I moved away and started my career. I wouldn't trade those times/memories for all the money in the world.

D.W.O. eh? Whatchu got? US, japan, or china made? Color...? I kinda sorta collect them. I need a gray, white, and dark green to have most colors.

Yessir! orange, Japan. :) I'm going to grab another one next time I place an order with Dave. Cool little knife IMO.

Not really... Hahaha. Are you doing ok?

I totally feel that. I'm not too jazzed about seeing it when I change my bandages.

I'm doing well, thanks. Just a bit of pain in the right lung when I take deep breathes but that should stop after awhile. It's pretty amazing what the human body can recover from.

Do you know how your lung collapsed in the first place? One of my friends had his because he crashed his bike after jumping it.

Spontaneous Primary Pneumothorax. It's when air or gas gets outside of the lung and pushes against it, forcing it to collapse and preventing it from re-inflating. That's why they had to put the chest tube in to suck the air out and bring the lung back up. It felt like someone squeezing and punching my lung as hard as they could when it happened and it's that kind of pain that you can't stop no matter what you do. It sucks pretty hard.

as far as cause goes, It's pretty much random (as the name suggests) and mostly happens to tall, thin, white males such as myself.

It sounds painful with you describing it. Glad you're doing better now.
