Psshht.....I just wanted to know if he could fit a finger or two in there. It's not like a whole fist like Kirby.not at all... im just saying... the things you're saying are a little bit R-rated. this is a family forum! Don't make me call SuperJuju on you.

I dont even know where to start on this one! :dejection:
And on Naughtys' bombshell that's it for me this evening, I'm off to bed!
That's probably because you looked those things up, right?I remember what it was like to be curious...
...the internet has ruined that for me. I have seen things that no one should ever see. Things beyond the realm of necessary things.

Quick question: How hot do you need to get another steel that's already been heat treated to mess anything up? I know it varies by steel, but a general idea is fine.

Shank you Willy! It varies from steel to steel. It's normally around the 350-450 degree mark IIRC.
As long as it works for you, than I don't see a problem with it.If I was gunna do it... it would depend on the sharpness...
If the knife was really dull I would sharpen it at 20 degrees per side and then throw the microbevel back on it when im done.
If the knife was just needing a touch up, I would just give it a quick brush up at the microbevel.
Im nowhere near an expert on sharpening, but thats how I would do it... its probably "wrong" but... it works for me.
I'm right there with you. Nothing is. There are some things I find that are just not right. It makes you wonder what people where thinking when they did it.

You got it Monday and didn't tell us? Shame on you! How has the Spanto tip been working out for you?So just wanted to let you guys know that the Thermite is amazing. I got it Monday evening and have been using it ever since for both work and outside of work and I have no complaint yet.
I was so excited for the Thermite and can happily report that so far its living up to my expectations. Thank you so very much Kai
