Not a fan of Prometheus lights. They're way too big for their output, and while they're cool looking lights with great craftsmanship and materials, there are just better choices out there, especially for the money. The only custom lights I'd really entertain are Mac's Customs, McGizmos, and the smaller custom makers that you'd find on CPF. Their work is usually amazing for the money, and if you're going to go for one of the Prometheus ready made lights, I'd say just search for a production light or a modified light that uses drop-ins so you can get the output and tints you want.
Lens Lights are cool, and I like them. They're a bit thick for me to carry, but their focusable beams are very very good. Much better in quality than LED Lenser. Their prices are a bit up there though, again for the output they offer. For Lens Light, it's more of a style thing. To me, they're kind of like Striders.
I do have a fancy for production lights, in the same way that I have a fancy for production knives. I love a high quality light with good technology, that doesn't cost crazy money and is something I'm actually willing to carry.
For me, I can't carry much else every day than smaller, single-celled lights that have high output floody beams. The Foursevens Mini ML-X with a Suspension Clip is a favorite, and pushes about 400-430 lumens on an RCR123. The Zebralight SC52 (cw or nw) is probably the best value you can get. Issue with ZL is that the neutral tints are hit or miss. Some are naaaaasty green and some are perfect neutrals and warm yellows. I got two perfect ones, because I built up a good rapport with a smaller dealer, so I ask him to check the tints and give me good samples. He's become my "kershawguy of Zebralights," if you will. So, that's that...
Ya know, I had one of those Sirius M11Rs. It was really nice, pretty cool, and a nice UI and output. Crazy bright, and not bad looking at all of a tint for a cool white emitter. I like the control ring, and the low mode was pretty much low enough to be a moonlight mode. The actual "firefly" mode was too low for me, and a pain to get to. The standard low and medium were just awesome. It was heavy though, very heavy and thick for a single CR123a light. If you get it though, I think you'll be happy with it. Just be mindful of the titanium clip, it can be a bit loose since it's thin. I had to take mine off and carefully bend it inward a bit to increase the tension. Nothing a torch lighter and some careful bending couldn't fix.
