hey guys, i need suggestions for some sharpening items, i want to get the spyderco sharp maker for the obvious reasons, but can one of you guys lead me the way to a good quality leather strop, and or ceramic sharpening rods i can buy for above 40 and under 100 bucks? and what kind of sharpening oils i should use, that kind of stuff, and what would be neccesary for putting mirror polished edges on my knives, as i want to enhance my sharpening skill... I know that getting better gear wont me better, i just want to raise the bar of whats possible for me to do

I'm going to sleep in tomorrow, which is something I normally don't do because I don't like it, but I need to catch-up on it.
 
For the sharpmaker just get their super fine ceramics they work well. Wait till you upgrade to a Wicked edge, just finished redoing the convex on my work knife.

I really need to get their extra coarse stones and another set of strops with compounds smaller than mine
 
Im buying membership tonight and was wondering how hard is it to get Order of Kai and number in my sig?? I also have to sale a few knives to get founds towards 0801...never sold a knife before it hurts to think about lol

Selling them isn't that bad, just have to look at the new awesomeness you can get when it sells!
 
I hate selling knives as well that's why sometimes I get duplicates or other brands... I find them easier to let go.
 
All I think about when selling knives is "Hey, now I can buy this awesome piece! Or this one!". That helps ease the pain of losing a loved one.

I'm really starting to get anxious for a Wicked Edge!
