Order of KAI Official Hang Out; Part Deux - It's Enrico Palazzo!

It actually looks pretty nice. It's a bit more textured which I'm guessing is because the aluminum is softer so the sand makes a larger "crater" when it hits.

I promise I'll be quick oh great one! It's just the heat tears at the very fibers of my being. It's maddening I tell ya!

That sounds excellent. It will be cool to see how the izula turns out... when you're done with your hot flashes that is. ;)

You just have to be different don't you  Hahaha oh well!

Yes, I do.

Question. Would this work for anodizing?

Cause my dad has one. Torch Welder, I think it's called.

Thanks for the vid stebs, I assumed thats how it worked, I just want to see if I can maybe get a tiny pin tip or pencil tip going and make a pattern of some sort. If not I'll go for blueish purple or whatever happens! I wonder what exactly happens if you go to far and maybe want to start over? Can you just sand it off or is it much deeper? I have never worked with Ti before so these are the questions I need to find out.

That doesn't look bad at all, I like it Willy  That would look great on my 0550. Didn't you trade that off awhile back though?

Pretty sure you can just sand/buff it off if it doesn't turn out the way you'd like. On my Regulus.. theres a couple scuff marks that show raw titanium underneath. Its pretty durable, but if you want it gone, it can be changed easily.

that might be a little much... it would work, but you might heat it up too quickly.

The flame temperature is able to be controlled. I can make it more like a zippo lighter flame, or I can make it an uber hot blue flame, and everthing in between.

I need the Kershaw Dimension to be released so I can practice heat anodizing.

Could be wrong but I believe that one went to bladechick777...

Kirby is right, I no longer have the Chokwe. It was a fantastic knife but I had it for a very long time and was pretty burnt out on it.

Only time will tell, my friend. You can't rush these things.

Yes, that was my photo. :) If you guys want to find me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, just look for my same handle that's everywhere.

Justin, your light actually has a neutral white emitter, instead of the high CRI. It does have a higher CRI than a cool white, but if you get a high CRI from Foursevens, the Cree LED will have a really warm tint that looks like an old incandescent bulb. It looks really charming, but I think neutral whites are nicer to use.

A bit of an update with my Wicked Edge, the 50/80 stones I got were defective. The diamonds in the matrix were off, which resulted in the 50 grit being pretty sparse and not abrasive. Also the 80 grit coating was really uneven and caused problems. I contacted the dealer, who put me through to Wicked Edge (they called them for me first) and Wicked Edge is sending me a new set of stones via Priority Mail along with a return label to send the defective stones back. Pretty awesome CS. :)
