my 600 took me 2.5 hours from start to finish, including polished edge, with ceramic stones, set to 23 degrees per side. didnt think it was that bad.... You should try a tilt

Really? Because it says the only money I have available right now is 89 dollars and the rest is "pending". That would be cool if I could go ahead and spend it.
 
If it's not in your balance, you can't spend it. Sometimes funds need to clear, as people don't always pay with an instant payment. Instant payments that are made from a person's bank account are cleared from PayPal's funds and your account still has to clear the debit. In other cases, the transaction is processed as a traditional debit, and will take time to fully clear all financial channels before your balance is finalized.

That sounds like awesomeness! I haven't done anything like that yet this year. I have nobody in which to share that kind of stuff with down here. I either do it myself or wait till I am back home in Pa with my brothers (besties). Lots of cool palces to do it down here though!

I know I miss mine. Might have to look in the futchaaa for one! I know my local joint happens to have a serrated for $120 or so.

Found two places local that have a nice selection of beers. They do not sell sixers and its all on premises unfortunately. I did get to try flying dog pearl necklace oyster stout though last night and it was good!

I may just end up with a serrated one. I prefer a pe, but at this point it really doesn't matter that much. I think there is plenty of usable edge on the se. I just hate it when 3/4 of the blade is serrated. I will have to make some calls.
 
I used the hell out of my serrated 0400 and I never felt I had a lesser knife because of it. I actually prefered that knife with them because of what I used it for (work, fire dept)!

Is it just me or is that on the higher side? I thought the one at my local shop was in that territory. I paid $95 when I bought mine at GPk 3 or 4 years ago.

What happened to that thread yesterday about wanting a cbcf or hinderer I didn't see it when I glanced.
 
I know most of you guys don't like Tuffthumbz, but seriously... the new Tanic he made is beyond incredible. Its based off the look of the Junkyard dog. Seriously the sickest knife i've ever seen. I love the industrial look.
