Right when I think things are going well, my dad puts them to an end. I have been trying to get into the knifemaking game for a while, but every time i bring it up, he shoots me down. I have been talking to him about it, and he always finds the negative in it.

I really need to find my own place. :/

I just got back from wally world and they too had one! Its a touch smaller than I had imagined but look nice fit and finish wise. Opened nicely with flicking the stud and deploying it slowly. Wasn't the sharpest on that model but that might be due to it being a display. I gave a lecture to the man behind the counter and a older gentleman who happened to be carrying a leek! Pretty much sold them when I asked what they knew about kershaw and I heard crickets. I pulled out the 0550 and told them they could shave with it! They played with it while I messed with the shuffle. Told them check out Dave for awesome prices and sweet pieces. They also had a funxion emt and a slot for a cryo surprisingly.

Lol i also talked to guy looking at the knives and showed him my 0550.....i was also suprised to see my walmart got in some cryo's as well, first time ive seen them there. Havent opened the shuffle yet driving home...but cant wait to do so.
I didnt even know Lowes even had knives for sale???? what they carry their?
 
mostly junk^ they sell the knives at the ends of some of the isles, my had a huge stock of crkts, i didnt have time to really check, but most of the prices were around 20ish

Last time I went they had the SOG twitch II, leathermans, and some bucks (112 and stockman I think)

My Shuffle was really gritty when I first got it. Took it apart and gave it a quick clean and oiling. It was pretty dirty on the inside. After doing that(do it with every new knife anyway) it was a lot better. Gonna give it a week or so to break in and clean/oil again. Thinking about carring it lefty with my 200 on my right.
 
ok, so i think im ready to start thinking about my next knife, i cant decide on wether or not i should get an 0560 first, or try a different brand
