Gents, let's watch those expletives and acronyms.

Sorry about that neeman!
From left to right: boattail scandi, maverick colt, frontier first in D2, small Tiger knapp, frontier valley, small workhorse, large Snapp knapp

pertinux - I'll try to get a sheath shot later today :)
Smithhammer - those elk vittles look good!

I nearly hit buy when I received the email about the Bush Pig, but have too many folders ordered :D

Congrats, it looks like a terrific knife! I found the Camp Muk to be very handy, well, around camp!

Did anyone buy the Queen made BHK trapper? I saw the email for it a couple months ago, really wanted one, but knew Charlie's barlows were coming out. I'm thinking about firing an email off to LT to see if any are left.

Here's a shot of them all sheathed, in the same order so as not to confuse: :)

Another one of my favorite BHK's - the 'Lil Muk (with a #61 for scale):

Extremely useful little fixed blade that can do a lot more than its size might suggest.

Thanks so much for the pictures, jwren! The knives look almost better sheathed-- but not really. ;)

Does their being seated so deeply in the sheaths sometimes make it more difficult to draw them out, or maybe just a couple of them...? Or are the sheaths not so tightly fitted that this is an issue?

Great looking pairings, regardless.

Not counting the Snapp/Tiger Knapps, all are pretty difficult to draw except the Frontier Valley, and even that is a little resistant - they really do seat deep and tight. At least I know they're not goin' anywhere.

My Brumby and Scaatycrafter are loose in the sheath, the Scaatycrafter will not come out by itself if hung upside down though, but the Brumby does after a little shake. Both sheaths are deep, but not overtly so. I put a fob on the Brumby, and I use it most every day for mundane chores. I don't have any trouble drawing it, but I don't carry it on my belt, usually in a back pocket.

I originally ordered the Scaaty, traded it, and got it back from the guy I traded it to . Anyway, I put a wrist thong lanyard on that, and it comes out fine. Both would come out fine without a lanyard.

I need to wet form the Brumby's sheath to make it a little tighter, might do that this weekend.

Another BHK that I can't seem to put down - the Frontier Valley Patch. It might be a fairly simple, unassuming knife on first impression, but the more you use it, the more you realize how much thought went into it.

I don't typically even like fixed blades, but I'm really drawn to these. I guess I'll have to order one.

Beautiful looking knives from everyone. I have a woodsman pro on my radar but want to research it a little more, but I like the looks of alot of their knives.

I have a BHK Frontier First Patch with Stag handles that I really like. This is the only example of BHK that I have but based on it I would say that you can't go wrong with them.

Have a great day,
Jeff

This is one knife that I immediately liked the design. Just happens with certain knives. I like that they changed the handle from their typical extreme taper to the bolster to something more full. Also that it is A2 instead of 01.

I'm looking at buying a Bushcrafter or Brumby..... plan on playing with Bushcraft, but it will mostly be used on Whitetail (I clean, quarter, and process my own meats).

Anyone got some input for me. BTW, I'm also looking at ESEE-3 (which isn't a traditional I guess).
