I don't know what you are experiencing but we got paid when your order went through back in SeptWait, I received a mail order that a label was prepared today - I paid in time but money was caught in PP Hell and only sent properly today. It was there but not there if that makes sense? Do you know if there is indeed one saved to ship me? So sorry
So what happens if someone gets the BF knife, doesnt really like it that much or finds something they want more, and sells it for a reasonable cost/to recoup money, and then the person they sold it to goes on and sells it for 2x the price. Does the original seller get his or her hand slapped? I don't have plans to sell mine as I have a specific purpose in mind, but I am curious.
Weird, I thought the payment was in some sort of limbo until the other day. Oh well. Says tracking was just created today if I'm looking at the right payment so was just making sure.I don't know what you are experiencing but we got paid when your order went through back in Sept

Put it this way..I vented.. and it would not have been deemed appropriate on the Porch. That I would like to read, but no Facebook here.
I am pretty certain we align on thinking, if not the exact verbiage....
The post is mine not the page...Which GEC page is yours.
Yeah I had the same issue with the blade, but at least 1095 is easy to reprofile and get to a very sharp edge. Getting it set properly in my sharpening system for the angle of the blade was a bit tricky though.B budthachud I'm with you, they didn’t even bring the bevel to the tip on one side of mine haha. My bolsters were also pretty scratched up compared to the pics I’ve see from others.
Anyone have a tip to get this oil cleaned up? This is my first New GEC and goodnight It’s just oozing even after several attempts to get it off.
I used alcohol on mine as well.Thats a good call, I used rubbing alcohol as well, the die on the covers started to come off so I got nervous and stopped.
Ah yeah that does happen sometimes and if you’ve got one at the exact color you like, avoid getting in on the bone. I should have mentioned it so I’m glad you did!Thats a good call, I used rubbing alcohol as well, the die on the covers started to come off so I got nervous and stopped.
Man that did come out looking good!I used alcohol on mine as well.
The darker than I liked covers lightened up just a tiny bit as I was hoping.
All is well...and clean.

Why would you need to use alcohol? Just wipe the excess oil from blade (or where ever) with a soft cloth or a paper towel....Thats a good call, I used rubbing alcohol as well, the die on the covers started to come off so I got nervous and stopped.
I’ve wiped them down like 3-4 times and it still slipping out of my hand. I just need to carry it for a few days and I’m sure it will be fine. Why would you need to use alcohol? Just wipe the excess oil from blade (or where ever) with a soft cloth or a paper towel....
