ORDERS ARE CLOSED! 2023 BladeForums.com Traditional Knife.

Found a nice surprise at my doorstep today.

#92 checking in. This is a really nice knife - fantastic quality from GEC with just about perfect pulls and excellent snap. The frame is one I've no experience with but it feels excellent in the hand and its slimness will make it easy on the pocket.

Well done, Spark, thanks for putting this together for us and for putting up with us all. Congratulations again on the 25 year milestone.

Here it is joining the others - one for each year I've been a member. There are a lot of memories in these knives, good and bad.

#126 came today. It's pretty sharp right out of the tube, and the blade pulls are about a 6 for the main & 8 for the secondary. We're not making much progress on this 2000 piece puzzle. Maybe I can do some trimming to make the pieces fit. Or better yet, just throw the whole darn thing back in the box.

#102 putting in a little work.

Nice one, and those poppers look delicious!

Side note, I have a set of plates extremely similar to that. They were my parents’ originally and they got them as a gift on their wedding. Then they were passed to me when I went to college. Now, my family eats off them every day.

Needless to say, if they’re the same, those are some plates built to LAST! Haha.

My BF34 just landed today. Mechanically it seems about the same as the other versions which is solid. The acrylic covers on the regular run may have let some down, but this really is a nice knife and I hope to see more 34s with different blade configurations down the road.

Congratulations on 25 years! Thanks for all of the work you put into this one 👍

Well , those plates are for sure built to last. I took that pic at my parents house after a squirrel hunt this morning. My dad (79yrs old)said they have had them as long as he can remember.

Those plates are most likely Corelle Ware by Corning. They have been around for a looooong time. We too have been them since ages it seems.
