Oregon Knife Collectors Association Knife Show April 13th - 14th Eugene, Or

The fellow who owns the next display (pyremite knives) wrote an article for the OKCA newsletter about creating displays for the show. He asked a woman, who was not a knife person, to create a display with his celluloid knives. This is what she created. Each wheel of knives is motor driven and spins. Kind of neat.

Barrett posted a pic of the countertop display. Here are some more pics of it

Wonderful Danno!
Thank You for taking the time and posting those displays! I still haven't figured out how to post any pics since things have changed around here.
Sure was GREAT seeing all you folks again after 4 years! I'd forgotten just how much fun that show is.

I thought the Pyremite display was an absolute standout. Celluloid can be such a lovely material, and it is neat that the Pyremite is a relatively stable form of the material.

OK John, now I get it, feel kind of dense for not getting it on my own.

Wow what a fantastic display that is worth going just to view it.

Even though our show in the UK isnt as big its got me excited for it,we have a few makers of our own.

If anyone is visiting the UK in October (date to be confirmed) it would be good to meet you if you could come along, I might even buy you a proper builders tea.

Its to much I cant take it all in, I would love to find a complete knife display like those. 😍

Oh how I wish I had that sort of money to go spending!
Jack - The last room that Paul and I shared had a Air Conditioner that made more noise than a Old Diesel Tractor - it was not a good room - real dark - in fact we joked that there could be a serial killer standing in the corner and we’d never know!
When you walked on the carpet your feet stuck to it 😂 Yeah not good.
But a few folks had a gathering at Dave’s room one night and he was in a different block - and his room was great! 🤣

theyve made some renovations since! its like the 1980s there now well at least the last time i went 😂
