OT: Childhood Depravity or What?

I stumbled around in Darkness searching for the Light until I realized that the Light was right on the other side of my vision. All I had to do was open my eyes and I would be instantly trasformed from a Searcher to a Seer. Although the veil was lifting from my eyes, my mind was still clouded by desire and I could not yet truly See until a disembodied, ethereal voice boomed in my head, "Let's go down to the 7-11, I've got the munchies".

As mildly amusing as this is, on second thought I had to wonder what kind of Seer mocks folks. I don't mind taking the air out of my balloon, but there were many sincere posts in this thread. But it was silly, instead of vicious- so I count this the improved Benaround.

On the other hand, who feels the need to issue judgement on others?

I am sure many enlightening things have been said that have been taken as irreverent or humorous.

Just an observation. How 'bout them Braves!

Here's my fave, from Presbyterian Communion service: "Cut off from me, you can do nothing."

I think fear comes with/from enlightenments, mebbe it goes both ways...

Don't be so self-absorbed Munk. I wasn't mocking anyone. That post had nothing to do with you. It was MY hot air floating MY balloon.
 
Thanks for saying so, Benaround. Like I said- I can use a little air out of the tire every once in awhile.
