What you hunting our there quail?

That's an awesome picture steve o, I'm getting ready to get a new shotgun for myself. How do you like that Benelli? Is that one the Vinci?

That's a really nice grouping cutchu! I'm totally liking the handle material on the knives and the grip material as well. Is that cocabollo on the Baer?

Hey Rick. The grips are from Esmeralda and are called Rosewood Picazo. Got your sheaths in the mail today too. They look great.

Thanks Kal-El. I've never hunted whitetail with a hand gun. This year will be my first attempt. I plan on carrying this as a sidearm during rifle season this year. If I have an opportunity at a "bow range" shot I will use the 44. I am very confident in my abilities at that distance but I won't take a shot beyond that range.

Sweet setup Dave! I'm thinking about heading out with my grandfathers old super blackhawk this year during rifle season. I see you found a Nessie too

Sweet rig all the way around. IMHO that holster set up is the only way to carry that long a barrel in the woods. Easy to access, even in a stand. Looks like you've got some good whitetail loads in the loops.

Thanks Brendan and J4SON. Brendan I hope you can get out with your grandfather's Ruger. I took a doe with my grandfather's Winchester 94 (32 Winchester) a couple years back and it's a very sentimental moment. Even at 50 years old I just sat alone with the doe and had a few moments of reflection. It's a moving experience.

Rick, obviously I must agree with you. :D This Galco set up is nice and it's easy to wear even over heavy winter coats. The rounds are .240 grain Remingtons.

Not as good as pictures as your guy's mine from a phone. Oh and don't worry I DOUBLE checked and made sure they were all LOADED jk jk

Took a fiddleback along as grouse season started today. No birds came along though:)
