OT: Fiddlebacks & Firearms

I wondered if the subsonics would cycle the bolt. I have a .308 (pics coming today) that I've wanted to put a can on (no budget though - I keep buying knives from theses guys named Andy and Phillip, and sheaths from this guy named Rick!), and I've read that the lighter loads won't cycle the bolt with a can.

What kind of .308 and can? In my SCAR and FAL, you can get them to cycle but it has an adjustable gas system. In most ARs, you are correct. They won't cycle reliably. The exception is the AAC .300 Blackout which was designed specifically to shoot subs and supers.

Entirely possible I was confusing issues with adjustable gas systems and low back pressure!

My .308...with my prize Browning HiPower, and my linen micarta Bushcrafter.

Just scored this Apache EDC on Fiddleback Friday. Borrowed Chris' pic from Instagram, hope he don't mind.

Is that 5 mosaic pins? What's the thickness on the blade? Is that canvas?
Beautiful first, if she ever needs a new home you know who to call. :D

Just one mosaic, 1/8 SFT, black canvas over natural w/ white pinstripes. Lol this one isn't for sale, but if ever I change my mind I'll let you know.

Yeah gents, I actually do occupy myself with a job and being a single dad to my teenage sons, etc. You wouldn't know it from the time I spend on this forum - especially taking pics of my shiny toys!

But...Mmatt passed the Bison to me, so it was time for pics.
